We woke up this morning starting with donuts for breakfast. We went to a local shop that decorates donuts to look like Hello Kitty and Kung Fu Panda. A first time (now favorite) for the trio!
Then we surprised Pops with a balloon at work. (It's his birthday too!). Mimi let Beau, Marlee and Lilly pick one for themselves too.
We had lunch at Chuck E Cheese...our favorite place.
A little afternoon nap, then over to Mama-Hs to open presents. After we were home again...Aunt Jules and Uncle Heath dropped off presents and joined us for candles and cake. Then we opened gifts from mom and dad.
(We got them scooters, Marlee asked to go outside and ride it...first thing the next morning.)
Seriously...could there be a better day for a three-year old! Our actual party is on Saturday...which has been a little confusing because they confuse the word birthday with birthday party.
Aunt Jules gave Beau an Old Lady (as in the one who swallows a fly, spider, bird, cat, dog, cow and horse). We have one at school and he loves to play with it...he actually asked her for it multiple times. He was SO excited when he opened it and shouted "the old lady!"
I also have to mention that three is SO much older than two or almost two. It seems like they have aged a year over-night. My kids are little kids...not babies or toddlers.
